the
dude.

Are channels and films included?

No. The Dude is a player for your own lawful playlists. Membership unlocks software features; streams and IPTV accounts are not sold.

Which devices can I use?

A macOS developer preview is working today. iPhone, iPad and Apple TV builds are in development and will be announced when available.

How do monthly, annual and Lifetime differ?

Plus monthly and annual plans add current Discover collections, TMDB ratings and title information to the advanced player. Lifetime permanently unlocks the advanced player and excludes active TMDB services. The default Stanley theme is free; four additional themes are included with paid plans.

How do trials work?

Trial offers are planned for the App Store release. Apple determines eligibility. Only one introductory offer is available per subscription group; switching from a monthly trial to annual does not provide a second trial. Unless cancelled in Apple account settings before the trial ends, the selected plan renews automatically at the displayed local price. Lifetime has no trial.

Does playlist refresh make a payment?

No. Daily or weekly refresh updates a due playlist while the app is open. It does not extend or pay for a provider subscription.

How do parental controls work?

Create a PIN in Settings and lock categories. Locked items move to the Parental controls area at the bottom of the list. Entry requires a PIN and leaving locks it again. These items stay out of global search, history and continue-watching rows. Category locks are not age ratings for every title.

Do I need a separate account for iCloud?

No separate The Dude account is required. Optional Mac preview sync uses your own iCloud Drive account. Playlist URLs can contain provider credentials. Sync with other device builds has not yet been verified.

How do cancellation and refunds work?

Manage subscriptions at https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Request refunds at https://reportaproblem.apple.com. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
